Data Deletion

Option 1: Disconnect a social account

1. Log in to MarkTRAQ.
2. Go to Settings → Channels.
3. Click Disconnect on the Facebook Page, Instagram account or Threads account.

The connection and its access tokens are deleted from our systems, and we stop accessing that account.

Option 2: Remove MarkTRAQ from your Meta account

• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or "Apps and Websites") → select MarkTRAQ → Remove.
• Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → select MarkTRAQ → Remove.
• Threads: manage this through your linked Instagram account's Apps and websites settings.

When you remove the app, Meta notifies MarkTRAQ and we delete the data we hold for that account automatically.

Option 3: Delete your MarkTRAQ account and all data

Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". We may ask you to confirm your identity. We aim to complete the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Access tokens and connection details for your Facebook, Instagram and Threads accounts
• Account profile details (name, handle, profile picture, account ID) received from Meta
• Insights and performance data, comments and message data we received from Meta
• Your campaigns, posts, drafts and generated assets (on full account deletion)

Some records, such as billing and tax records, may be kept where the law requires it.
